The Rose and Kettle Restaurant
fine dining in the Central Leatherstocking region
of upstate NY
4 Lancaster Street
Cherry Valley, NY 13320
607-264-3078

We will be closed Christmas Day, and for the winter after the
New Year's Eve Dinner.
Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5pm. See
our blog for the Sunday
Music Series schedule.
The Rose & Kettle,
offering gourmet dining in the Catskills, is located in a
two-hundred-year-old house in Historic Cherry Valley, New York, 17 miles from
Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame, and just ten miles from the
Glimmerglass Opera. The Rose and Kettle offers fine dining just north of the
Catskill Mountains, in the Central Leatherstocking region of New York
state.
Chef-owned and operated, The Rose and Kettle features a seasonal menu with an
emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. The food is
American, but with a southern European influence (French & Italian). The wine
list features lots of unusual wines from small, excellent producers.
We are closed on Wednesday and Thursday. We begin serving dinner
at 5pm. Reservations are
recommended for this upstate New York restaurant (which is convenient to
the Cooperstown, Albany, and the Capital Area), especially in July & August during Glimmerglass Opera season. Visit our
Cooperstown restaurant blog
for the latest news on special events like music and special menu items.
The roads to
historic Cherry Valley are some of New York State's most beautiful
scenic drives—from Albany and the Hudson Valley to the door of The Rose
and Kettle in upstate New York's historic town of Cherry Valley, near
Cooperstown and Sharon Springs.
